Byford Mills is a Perth-based flour mill that has been supplying a range of baking products to the baking industry since 1999. Recently, they contracted Todae Solar to design and install a commercial solar system to reduce their electricity bill and carbon footprint. In May 2016, Todae Solar completed the installation of 1048 frameless First Solar PV panels which required custom made mids and ends, DC harnesses and special fuses procured from overseas. The result was a slick solar array that is now autonomously generating energy for Byford Mills.
